Accreditations and Qualifications

We maintain the highest standards at A&M Training, allowing us to provide quality training courses which are industry recognised and accredited through a range of associated organisations.

Training that doesn’t lead to an industry recognised qualification is close to useless for most people; simply learning a task isn’t enough, you have to be able to prove you have that skill, and to a standard that employers and legislation recognise. All of our courses are delivered to the highest quality levels both in partnership with or accredited by a variety of industry and educational organisations.

ITSSAR
ITSSAR is a Health and Safety Commission approved accrediting organisation. Its sole function is to write and monitor training standards for a broad range of mechanical handling equipment including construction plant, crane operation, lifting and rigging operations, and slinging and signalling. This ensures that its registrants are delivering the highest quality of training within the workplace. The Standards are relevant, current, and comprehensive and far exceed the Accrediting Bodies Forum 2000.

NVQ
National Vocational Qualifications are based on practical and useful work-related tasks helping you develop the right range of skills and knowledge to do any job effectively. Based on national standards and available at a range of competence levels, NVQs can quantify your current experience and allow expansion to improve on it, all in the process of doing your job.

Lantra
Lantra support the development of workforces and help businesses access the quality training and recognised qualifications they need to help their staff improve their skills. Besides developing the training sector as a whole and helping bring all parts of the industry and government together Lantra also offer access to a range of qualifications and training courses through providers such as A&M Training.

IOSH
IOSH is the chartered body for health and safety professionals and an international non-profit organisation. IOSH is the world's biggest professional health and safety membership organisation.

Edexcel
Edexcel are the UK’s largest awarding body of academic and vocational qualifications. Promoting innovation and excellence in work-related training through qualifications like BTEC and NVQ many of our courses and qualifications at A&M Training are Edexcel accredited.

Canterbury College
We work closely with Canterbury College, one of the leading educational establishments in the area to provide vocational skills training, associated qualifications and guidance to external learner services where appropriate.
