Moffett Lorry Mounted FLT

Moffett lorry mounted fork lift trucks are versatile machines transported on the rear of Large Goods Vehicles for use by the driver to load and offload goods in environments that would challenge a conventional lift truck or where unloading facilities are not available.

We provide basic, refresher and conversion training for this type of plant and, as part of the Drivers CPC.

• HASAWA 1974
• LOLER Regulations 1998
• PUWER Regulations 1998
• Capacity plates
• Stability factors during operation
• Daily maintenance checks
• Safe stowing and unstowing of plant
• Operation of vehicle
• ITTSAR qualified operator practical and
  theory assessments

Course Duration:

If you are currently the holder of a valid forklift operator certificate then a one day conversion course is all that will be required to transfer your skills however, if you have never operated a fork lift or your license has expired then the duration will be between one and four days depending on experience and the number of delegates on each course- (Maximum 3 delegates/instructor)

Don’t forget that if you are a goods vehicle driver then training or refreshing your knowledge of this equipment will also count toward your CPC training hours.
