Side loaders are a highly practical alternative version of the standard counterbalance fork lift ideal for use in industries like timber, metalwork or anything else where the loads are long.

Our side loader operator training course is a perfect conversion training opportunity for lift truck drivers already experienced and qualified in the basics of operating a conventional counterbalance lift truck. With many of the basic skills and principles carrying over, our sideloader courses are designed according to the individuals level of expertise, ensuring they are also up to date on all the safety and best practice essentials.

Delegates of the course will be fully qualified to operate sideloader fork lift trucks to industry recognised standards and fully aware of best practice, professional operation and safe day to day working.

• ITTSAR qualified operator practical and theory assessments

Duration and location

The length of courses depends on each individuals current level of experience, those with other fork lift truck operator qualifications may only require two days, novices or less experienced operators more.
